Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels was founded in April 2004. We rely solely on our volunteers and donations. We are an approved 501(c)(3) organization. Your donations are tax-deductible.

Our main focus is on the rescue of the Yorkshire Terrier, but no canine paw too small.

Home Base is located in NW Indiana with volunteers and members available statewide.  We do not have a Shelter Facility. We use private Foster Homes, volunteers and members that are available statewide and in our sister states of Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.  We rescue toy dogs from our sister states also.

IPPRA's primary objective is to rescue any and all Yorkies in need, no matter the age or medical condition.  We will, however, take most any toy dog under 15 lbs. if we have room available.  All of our rescue dogs are completely vetted including spay/neuter, brought up to date with vaccinations, heartworm tested and on prevention, wormed, microchipped and any additional care that the dog may need prior to adoption.
